Paige used to be a rebellious child much like her older half sister, Phoebe. As an adolescent she didnt care about grades and didn't want to go to collage. After the traumatizing experience of losing her parents, her attitude changed to a more positive self. She got out of her drinking habits and became a very hard worker.
Paige is still a spunky girl who has always been practical and powerful, no matter what life she is in. She is not the perfect person but relates to everyone and enjoys helping everyone around her. She has gut instincts that usually save her, she just needs to follow them more often. She likes children and teaching others more about magic.
She always stays true to who she is, even if she would turn evil, not that she will- as she has always chosen good. She has a good heart and a strong will, Paige is loyal to her family and friends and always will be more than anything else.

Paige was born on August 2nd 1977, to Patty Halliwell and Sam Wilder. Because of her parent's forbidden love, they put Paige up for adoption. She was adopted by Mark and Helen Matthews. As a child she was rebellious, had issues with alcohol and smoking. Her parents died in a car accident when she was in her teens, and her parents were about to take her to a family night, they were killed in a car accident. Paige accidentally orbed out of the car and survived.
Since her parents died, she worked harder in school and became a social worker. She found her sisters Piper and Phoebe after Prue died and then discovered her witch powers. Paige then became the third member to complete the power of three.
At first, Paige didn't want to be a witch but when she saw what she could do, the good she could create and that she couldn't run away from magic, she accepted her heritage. She also learned that her parent's fate was inevitable but learned to accept that it was their time. She learned quickly how to orb herself distances as well as about her past lives; one being the Evil Enchantress, as well was learning the "scent" of demon trails.
Paige changed a lot over the years, she started out as the third wheel to the sisters and then became included in the manor. She had to deal with fitting in and losing her own life and dedicated it to fighting demons. Paige learned to come into her powers and now is a whitelighter/ teacher. She has been many things including Magic School Headmistress, a Vlakyrie for a short period of time, a vampire and some other various creatures.
