Phillip is the son of Laura Smith, the great-grandson of Phoebe Halliwell, greatnephew of Penelope Halliwell, third cousin of the charmed ones. Fourth cousin of the current generation.

He was raised in Miami Florida and with hsi older sister and being the son of two witches was considered powerful in his own right, especially being the decendent of Charmed Magic.

He moved to San Francisco in the last year and does not really trust his distant family yet. Though he is doing good work with his magic.
