I Can't Reach (open)

It was another night, the sun was setting outside the library windows and many students were eating for those like her who lived at the school, but no her, she had a different diet to them and had to eat alone, it sucked but she knew why, so she didn’t control it, in case the thirst took over again, it’d happened before. She licked her lips at the very thought though focussed on the task at hand, there was a book on the stop shelf she couldn’t reach and it was annoying her like crazy.

She looked around for the ladder but didn’t see it, what you expected your students to learn and yet you took away the ladder for them to reach the book they needed, real smart of them. If she had her mother’s power it would be so much better but she didn’t she had her aunties powers instead and her vampire powers. She’d tried so many times to walk up walls because try getting a book off a shelf in bat form it was not easy to do at all. So she sat in the middle of the floor in her red dress looking at it. People wondered why she dressed as she did, she had to so people knew she was dangerous and to avoid her, that she was a vampire and could kill you in a heartbeat if she got her teeth into you. So people avoided her plus one teacher had asked her to dress like that and her mother said ‘ok’ just to make sure she had no friends.

She sighed and folded her arms, well this would be a fun study session the book she needed she couldn’t reach and the ladder was not to be found. She licked her lips again and made a face, so what would she do then… sit on her ass all night… possibly.

Night time in Magic school amd hewas there, something he hated but that never the less, he had to do, for every whitelighter was now mandatory to be there at least once a week and keep watch, the elders were constantly afraid of demons getting their hands on it again, why couldn't they trust on his Aunt Paige? She has done an unbelievable job here, he wanted to protest but he kept his mouth shut.

Walking down the main hall into the library, he saw the student that everyone was afraid of, he saw no harm in her what so ever, she was an innocent who was caught in a bad situation and now was struggling very hard to keep her vampire self from raising up and take control, he found that admirable; when his AU self traveled to the past to save Wyatt from turning evil, he was bitten by a spider and was pretty close to let himself absorb the whole thing, as always, his father and mother were there to save him, god, how many times his parents saved him from becoming one of those thing? Really, he couldn't remember.

He knew she could be next to him in a blink of an eye so trying not to scare her, Chris approached her and made a joke hoping she would get it and wouldn't scared her "Yeap, the upper shelves need some serious dusting"
